The "Neva" is a traditional Russian kayak for quiet lakes and rivers.

The "Neva" comes in two models, a two-seater, and a three-seater model. There are currently no other manfuacturers offering three-seater folding kayaks on the American market. The special feautures of the kayak include the transverse tension mechanishm carried withing the frames. The boat can be assembled quickly, and as such is perfect for any trip involving long portages, or hiking and kayaking. Specifically, this quality makes it possible to recommend the kayaks for weekend, or weeklong trip.All Neva's have an apron, and the Neva 3 comes with a steering rudder. It is also possible to equip both models with a sail, and both models come in a convinient knapsack into which the boat completely fits in its unassembled form.

Construction
5 frames (of them three hinged - ensuring the transverse tension of the shell of kayak),kilson two-funnelled, the soft shell with open sounding board, kilsons and stems protected by a special protector, apron in three landing places on "velcro". The construction is designed for steering gear.

Materials

• Frames duralumin alloy DYT, polyamide 610; · Longitudinal assembly is duralumin alloy DYT, DY'T;
• Shell is bottom - cloth PVC viniplan .18 - .20 lb/square ft;
• deca- - cloth PVC viniplan .13 - .14 lb/square ft;
• Packing is the cloth of kordura 600 or cloth nylon - Oxford 600.
