The "Ilmen" is a kayak shaped as an indian style canoe.

This boat is designed for calm rivers and lakes, for fishing, hunting, or a slightly longer family trip. The basic merits of the boats are that it has a large cargo hold, and is extremely stable. The pneumatic elemens, which are placed in a circumference in the boat give it an almost zero chance of sinking. The large volume means that the boat will handle any cargo a fisherman, or a family needs, while its large width and hight make sure that the boat is stable. If one wants to keep the cargo dry then it can easily be covered by an apron, which attaches to the boat via "Velcro". The "Ilmen" can also be equippred with steering control, and/or a sail. The kayak includes a knapsack into which the entire boat fits in an unassembled form.

Construction
5 frames, dual kilson, two pneumatic balloons, soft shell with an open sounding board, kilson and stems are protected by a specially designed protector, apron in three landing places on "Velcro".

• Pneumatic elements cloth rubberized by 1524 or cloth PVC viniplan
• Shell is bottom -

  • deca- - cloth PVC viniplan .13 - .14 lb/square ft
• Packing is the cloth of kordura 600 or cloth nylon - Oxford 600
